The public is invited to the historic Hendersonville Court House on September 14, at 1:30pm. To hear lifetime resident Sam Elliott speak about and introduce his late brother’s book, Antebellum Flat Rock. It’s a beautiful book about some of Historic Flat Rock’s most interesting homes. You can pick up your copy at Firefly Craft Gallery for $14.95.

I was lucky enough to meet one of the nicest men I’ve ever met today, Sam Elliott. He is a Vietnam Veteran and boy does he have some stories to tell. He is also a Sculpture artist. He is selling these coins that he designed to raise money for various veteran charities. You can pick them up at Firefly. All money goes to charity.
